Privacy Policy

Your work stays with you.

Toollix is designed around browser-first processing, minimal data handling, and clear permission choices.

Last updated: July 14, 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains how Toollix handles information when you visit toollix.app and use its browser-based utilities. No Toollix account is required to use the current service.

2. Local tool processing

Toollix tools are built to process the content you enter on your device. Text, passwords, tokens, hashes, dates, generated codes, and selected files are not intentionally sent to a Toollix application server for processing.

“Processed locally in your browser” means the calculation or transformation happens in the web application running on your device.

3. Information we handle

Tool inputs

We do not intentionally collect or store the content you place inside a tool. You should still avoid entering information you do not have permission to use.

Basic website delivery

Like other websites, hosting infrastructure may temporarily process standard technical request information—such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp—to deliver pages, maintain security, and diagnose service problems.

Messages you send

If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include so we can respond.

4. Files, camera, clipboard, and downloads

  • Files: supported tools read selected files locally in your browser.
  • Camera: the QR scanner requests camera access only after your action. You can revoke it through browser settings.
  • Clipboard: copying a result uses your browser clipboard after you select a copy action.
  • Downloads: generated files are prepared for download on your device.

5. Local storage and cookies

Toollix may save harmless preferences or recent-tool choices in browser storage to improve convenience. Sensitive inputs such as passwords, secrets, JWTs, and uploaded file contents are not intentionally persisted. Toollix does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

You can clear local website data through your browser settings.

6. Network delivery and third parties

Your browser must connect to the website host to load Toollix pages and application assets. Tools are not designed to upload their working inputs. The application may include open-source libraries delivered as part of its own code; their functions run in your browser.

Toollix supports coarse usage events such as opening or running a tool, loading an example, copying or downloading a result, and reporting an error. These events may include only the tool ID, category, action type, coarse referral source, error code, or result type. They must not include tool input, file contents, passwords, tokens, cryptographic secrets, generated credentials, or exact results. Referral reporting is limited to labels such as direct, Google, Bing, ChatGPT, or other—not the full referring address or its query.

Toollix does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If advertising or another external service is added, this policy will be updated to describe it.

7. Security and your choices

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the website. No internet service can promise absolute security, so review sensitive results carefully, keep your browser current, and use a trusted device.

Toollix is a general-audience utility service and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as Toollix changes. The updated date at the top will show when the document was last revised. Material changes will be presented clearly on the website where appropriate.

9. Privacy contact
